Hello viewers,

We, the members of the PWCP are delighted to bring to your notice that we are raising funds to support children living in the slums of Kibera, a region in Kenya. Hope Wilder is our fund-raiser. And here is what Hope has to say.

If you want to include more information about the event, here it is:

Power to the Children tells the story of children in India who are self-organized in the tens of thousands to advocate for children's rights and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These "Children's Parliaments" are the single largest organization that uses sociocracy in the world.

They have accomplished countless achievements locally and nationally, including:

·       Creating programs to address domestic violence

·       Advocating against child labor and child marriage

·       Ensuring children with disabilities have access to education

·       Feeding children daily breakfast in high-poverty slums

·       Providing drinking water, electricity, and sewer access for thousands of households

·       Founding libraries

After the film there will be a Q&A with Swarnalakshmi Ravi and two members of the Provisional World Children's Parliament.

Thank you all so much!
